Fire resistant windows, doors & curtains
TPS offer a range of glazed and windows for both FRL (fire resistant level) applications, along with a range of products for BAL (Bushfire attack level) applications.
The use of glazed fire and smoke protection can provide huge building design opportunities without sacrificing the fire protection and safety of the building. It is important to be aware that neither the frame nor glass has a fire rating – it is always the system that has the approved fire rating. All products requiring either an FRL to AS1530.4, or BAL for bushfire applications will meet the DTS provisions of the NCC /BCA when used correctly.
For products requiring a BAL, these are represented according to the level of exposure, typically either BAL-FZ (flame zone), or radiation level (e.g., BAL-40, BAL-29, BAL-15, etc).
