Joost Bakkers excelled in making a sustainable and economical 'Future Food System' - something that's been over 25 years in the making!

TPS provided the glazed doors and windows, including a huge awning window to the kitchen that can be opened outwards to created a covered outdoor area - and it can be operated by just one person.. Check out the timeline of the project below.

It involves two pieces of steal surrounding insulation. By separating the steal with insulation, thermal conductivity is limited and temperature is regulated.
What is the benefits?
The thermally broken steel framing system is not only energy efficient but also suitable for architectural applications through to Bushfire Flame Zone applications. The possibilities are endless.

We installed internal and external fire rated glazing to the newly renovated Sydney Museum. This not only allows for natural light to shine through but creates a spacious feeling, all without sacrificing the fire safety.

The newly extended Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is full of light and visual freedom. We achieved this by installing glazed fire doors and fixed panes to the fire stair and fire separation walls.

Joost set us a challenge earlier this year.

Create a large window for the kitchen that would allow a heap of light in, would open out to create a glazed roof to allow a film crew to operate under, could be operated by one person, had to be thermally broken steel, double glazed, and be one panel of glass.

The answer: a Forster Unico outward opening strut supported window. It works like a dream and looks incredible!
